Accidental fire burns down wholesale shops in Mysuru; loss estimated in crores

Mysuru: An accidental fire in four wholesale shops gutted stocks worth crores of rupees at Santhepete in Mysuru. The fire is said to have broken during wee hours of Thursday.
Santhepete is the business hub of Mysuru where hundreds of wholesalers carry on their business. With the accidental fire engulfing four such shops, the fire fighters had to struggle for over five hours to bring the fire under control.

It is estimated that each shops had stocks worth Rs 40 lakh, which have been lost. Case has been registered at Devaraj police station.
