Mysore: Yelwal Police have arrested three persons including actor Naveen of Hai Krishna fame in connection with a assault on a person here.

The other two arrested have been identified as Rohit and Bhyra, residents of Belawadi in city.

It may be recalled that on Aug. 1, the trio had assaulted one Lokesh also of Belawadi and had escaped. Yelwal Police, who had registered a case based on the complaint from Lokesh, arrested the three on Monday.

They were produced before a Court yesterday which remanded them to judicial custody.

Mysore Rural Circle Inspector Gopalakrishna, Yelwal Police Station SI Ganesh and staff took part in the nabbing operation.
