Kanakapura : Four persons lost their lives in a head-on collision between two bikes  near Sarahaddinadoddi here late night on  Tuesday June 17.

The deceased are Selvappa (50), Murugan (35), Veeramani (35) and Seth(30), all hailing from Tamil Nadu. It is learnt, both the bikes were over speeding resulting in the crash which killed all the four on the spot.

The Kodihalli  police who rushed to the spot soon after the mishap, shifted the bodies to the local government hospital for a post-mortem. The bodies were later handed over to the relatives.

The mishap occurred when Veeramani and Seth  were on way home in their Pulsar bike after completing works at a stone quarry at Kanakapura. The other bike-a Hero Honda Glamour  which Murgan and Selvappa were riding was coming from Tamil Nadu.
