Mysuru: On the early morning of Saturday February 7, the residents near the University of Mysore were for a shocker as they saw a man hanging from a tree.

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Dundappa Malagi of Kanapura, Belagavi district was working in a private hotel in Bengaluru. It is reported that Dundappa came to city in Tippu express yesterday and consumed alcohol before committing suicide.

He hung himself to a tree near the guest of house of University of Mysore campus.

Jayalakshmipuram police are investigating the case.
