Mysore Medical College resident doctors march to DC’s office: Demand pending salaries

Mysuru: The resident doctors of the Mysore Medical College and Research Institute on Friday November 12 staged a protest march to District Commissioner’s office demanding the payment of salaries pending for last 15 months.

In a letter to Deputy Commissioner, the Resident Doctors’ Association have demanded that payments of Covid – 19 allowances and the stipend should be done. The letter also gas sought among other demands to pay senior residents should be paid on par with SR-grade for the 2021 batch.

Further, they have added in the letter that senior resident doctors, postgraduate students and interns have carried out Covid – 19 duties without any due payments.
