Mysore dynasty Yaduveer’s grandmother passed away

Mysore: Uma Gopalaraja Arasu (83), grandmother of royal family member Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar, passed away on Wednesday. Yaduveera’s mother Uma passed away at their residence in Lakshmipuram on Wednesday. Uma Gopalaraja Arasu was ill and was admitted to a private hospital in Kuvempunagar. But the treatment was ineffective and he breathed his last around 4.53 pm.

Yaduveera’s father Swaroopananda Arasu and mother Uma Gopalaraja Arasu are survived by three sons and one daughter.

Yaduveera Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar has condoled the death of his grandmother through social media. It is with great sadness that I inform you of the demise of my grandmother, Smt. Uma Madan Gopalraj Aras. He was always simple, kind, and loved by all. He played an important role in shaping the personality and behavior of his children and grandchildren. Words cannot describe how important and precious he was to me and my family. His passing away has left a void in our lives. I pray that God may grant eternal peace to his soul’. He wrote Om Shanti.
