Karkala: Member of Legislative Assembly V. Sunil Kumar expressed profound condolences and strongly condemned the brutal murder of Chikkodi Jain Muni Acharya Sri 108 Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj of Belgaum district. “The killing of Digambara sages has brought a severe shock to the mind, it hurt the mind a lot,” he said. He has urged the state government to give severe punishment to the guilty murderers.
“Sadhus and saints are peace lovers. Good for the country. He who gives guidance in matters of rites, Sanatana dharma. Society cannot accept that such sadhus and saints have been murdered in this despicable manner. There should be a proper investigation into the murder and the culprits should be punished. He urged the state government to take this case seriously and punish the murderers severely.” He said while demanding to provide protection for the sadhu saints of the country.
Not only the Jain community but the entire country is saddened by the passing away of the Jain sages, he prayed that the Lord would grant the people the strength to bear the pain of the passing away of the Digambara sages.
