Bantwal: Bantwal Police have filed POCSO case against a man for allegedly impregnating a minor on the false promise of marriage.

The accused identified as Masuk, a resident of Uppinangady has fled abroad, police informed.

The incident came to light on September 1 when the victim was admitted into a private hospital at B.C. Road after she complained of stomach ache.

Based on her statement, the Bantwal rural police have registered a case against Masuk.
