Shivamogga: I am a disciplined soldier of the party and would obey the instructions of the party’s national leadership and stay away from Tumakuru convention of Rayanna Brigade, said Opposition Leader and Brigade promoter K S Eshwarappa. The Rayanna Brigade convention is scheduled to be held on October 8.

Eshwarappa said that during the recent meeting, national leaders have advised him and B S Yeddyurappa to sort out the problems. “The media reports on Thursday’s meeting and other developments regarding Brigade are far from the truth. Our intention is to bring BJP to power in the next general elections and make BSY the chief minister. The Brigade’s intention is to ensure justice to all. However, Yeddyurappa is not happy with the Brigade. So, both of us will sit together and sort out the problem,” he said.

The Opposition Leader further said that heads of four mutts have extended their support to the Brigade. He also said that the brigade activities will continue and also that he and Yeddyurappa would listen to the advise of the party’s top brass.
