Shivamogga: Narayana Murthy, aged 80 years, an ayurvedic doctor from Narasipura in Shivamogga district, who is known for his free cancer herbal medicine passed away on Wednesday night

People from across the country used to visit Murthy to collect herbal cancer medicine.

He had stopped giving medicine since March, after the COVID 19 outbreak.

Murthy used to say that his knowledge of medicine has been transmitted for 800 years, over 14 generations within the family. He too has left his secret knowledge to his son, who is expected to continue his practice.
