Declining the rumors about him of getting a ministerial post in Basavaraj Bommai’s government he said BJP is a National party and it is the high command who takes all the decisions.

Commenting on Priyanka Kharge’s statement on Vajapaee he said that people think they can become leaders by giving such a controversial statement. Unfortunately, no one can become a leader by such comments on Vajpayee. Instead, one can become a leader only by working for the people and by involving in social activities.
