Shivamogga: Three persons died on the spot in a gruesome road mishap at Kaspadi of Sagar taluk on Saturday, March 8 late night. One person has been severely injured in the accident.

Siddappa (40), G Thimmappa (60) and Venkatesh (55) have been identified as the deceased. They all hailed from Raichur.

The car in which they were traveling rammed into a tree, killing three people on the spot.

Nagaraj, one of the co-passengers, was injured.

They were all travelling back to Raichur from Kargal when the mishap took place.
