Shivamogga: A man who had gone to give a bath to cow at a pond in Negavadi of Tattur Village of Kuppagadde Hobli in Soraba Taluk of the District was washed away in the water.

The cow dragged Umesh B from the Village along with a rope tied to it at Doddakere in Negavadi. As a result Umesh drowned.

The locals who witnessed the incident called the Fire Brigade. His body was found using a boat by the Fire Brigade personnel who rushed to the spot immediately.

Umesh’s body was found after two hours. Umesh is survived by his wife and two children. A case of unnatural death has been registered at Soraba Police Station.
