Shivamogga: MLC Ayanur Manjunath said that I have requested the High Command to give me an opportunity to serve the people of the Constituency. He was confident that the party would give him a ticket in the Assembly elections this time.
Addressing a press conference, he said, “It is true that there have been riots in Shivamogga in recent years. It is also true that MLA K. S. Eshwarappa has brought it under control. Eshwarappa and I are travelling in the same car. Eshwarappa is driving and when he is tired, I also want to drive for some distance,” he said showing his desire for the ticket.
“I will drive if they give me a chance, otherwise I will sit next to him,” he asserted.
