He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’, ‘Unity Run’ and ‘Patel’s Contribution to the Integrity of the Country’ organised by the Union Sports Department, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shivamogga City Corporation, Veterinary College, NSS Unit, Rotary North, and Rotary Shivamogga East at Kashipur Circle here on Monday October 31. He said that the integration of India was achieved due to the vision and performance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his sacrifice, service, and struggle for ensuring the internal security of the nation, thus giving a true definition of integrity which is unforgettable.

He congratulated all present on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of the idea of Akhand Bharat, the first Deputy Prime Minister of the country and the Iron Man who served India as the Home Minister.
