Shivamogga: A revenue inspector of Shivamogga Corporation has been caught by the Lokayukta while accepting a bribe.

Lokayukta officials raided the Revenue Department of the Corporation.

Revenue Inspector R. Manjunath is an officer trapped by the Lokayukta. Manjunath had demanded a bribe to give no-objection certificate (NOC) to a person for the construction of the building.

The Lokayukta police conducted a raid while accepting the bribe of Rs. 5000. Based on a complaint lodged by Halesh of Vaddinakoppa village, the Lokayukta conducted the raid.
