Shivamogga: The body of a newborn baby girl was found at the premises of McGann Teaching District Hospital and a complaint has been lodged at Doddapete Police Station in this regard.

A newborn baby girl was bitten by a dog and later it was chased away by a supervisor there.

Someone had left behind the infant near the paediatriatric ward in McGann Teaching District Hospital either with the intention of hiding the birth of the baby, or for some other reason.

The child, who had lost her life, was bitten by a dog and brought to the McGann enclosure.
