Shivamogga: A girl named Chaitra from Kiratodi, Tumari Panchayat, has been selected for the upcoming Under – 18 Floorball national event to be held in Delhi, and will be representing the state from the Udupi team.

Chaitra is currently pursuing her second PUC in Kollur Mookambika Pre-University College. Her mother is working as an Anganwadi helper.

The college administration has expressed its happiness that a village girl is representing the state at the nationals.

She is being trained by Premanath Shetty.
