Shivamogga: K A Dayanand took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Shivamogga on Tuesday, August 7.

He succeeds outgoing Deputy Commissioner Lokesh.

Deputy Commissioner K A Dayanand after assuming office spoke to media and said, “Shivamogga is not new to me. I was in touch with former DC Lokesh. Hence I am familiar with the happenings and developments in the district. After a proper study, I will do my best for the Shivamogga district.”

Meanwhile, a few organizations also protested against the transfer of DC Lokesh but he was also successful in convincing the protestors.
