Shimoga : Opposition leader in State Legislative Council KS Eshwarappa has charged the state government of patronising goonda culture.

Speaking to reporters in Shimoga, he alleged that the government had lost all respect and was shielding those who have assaulted the police personnel. He said the BJP will continue its fight until action follows against the accused.

Stating that Karnataka  was reeling under drought conditions, he said the Government has failed to tackle the situation and ensure precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, State Housing Minister Ambarish who reacted in Mandya to the case of alleged assault on cops by an MLA, said the law will take its own course.
