Shivamogga: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department Minister K. S. Eshwarappa on Sunday January 24 said that Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa was in part responsible for his political growth.

Speaking at a function to install the newly elected office-bearers of the Shimoga Urban Development Authority (SUDA), Eshwarappa said, “I have never worked against BSY. My growth is due to him and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Continuing, Minister added that there is no two factions as it is generally debated. If i betray BSY, it is like betraying mother and father.

Further, MP B. Y. Raghavendra stressed that Nagaraj’s appointment was not a setback to anyone as him being chosen for the position is a result of his hardwork.
