Shivamogga/Mangaluru: A deacon serving in Shivamogga diocese was found dead in his room at Chaitanya on October 31.

Sunil Fernandes (33), a resident of Ujire is the deceased.

Meanwhile, Fr. Francis Serrao SJ of the diocese has issued a statement that a decision on the deceased’s funeral was yet to be taken and would be communicated once finalised.
