Hassan: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the sex scandal involving Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna and his father HD Revanna, accompanied by local police officials, conducting a spot inspection at Revanna’s House in Holenarasipura town, Hassan district, on Saturday.
The spot inspection is going on and is likely to conclude before the evening. Sources indicate that officials are conducting the spot inspection with the victim, who alleged being sexually harassed by HD Revanna and Prajwal Revanna at his house in Holenarasipura.
Video clips allegedly showing Prajwal Revanna engaging in sexual acts with several women, including government employees, circulated in Hassan district. In response, the Karnataka government ordered a Special Investigation Team to probe the matter.
Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of JD(S) chief and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, is also the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. Sources also indicate that a lookout notice was issued against the incumbent JD(S) MP by the SIT probing the case on Thursday.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT), led by SP Seema Latkar, visited several places in Holenarsipur, and conducted spot-inspection, in connection with the sexual scam case of JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, in Hassan district, on Friday.
Police have issued a notice to Bhavani, asking her to appear for the investigation on Friday or Saturday, said sources.
