Hassan: In a tragic incident seven people were killed after the Scorpio they were travelling in toppled and fell into Janivara lake at Channarayapattana taluk in Hassan on Saturday January 9.

The deceased are Janardhana A, Shivaswamy, Karthik K N, Jayanth A N, Raju N R, Satisha and Prashanth.

According to sources, the driver lost control over the vehicle and suddenly it toppled and fell into the lake.
