Hassan: On the night of Tuesday May 16, an incident took place in Hanubal where a wildebeest attacked and damaged houses and gardens.

Around 10.30 pm the elephant came to the house yard of Camanahalli Murali and attacked his house. The tiles of the sitout of his RCC house were crushed by the impact of the elephant’s attack. The window of the house has been broken. The residents of the house who were inside the house spent time watching the events in fear for their lives.

It is learnt that the elephant attacked to get the rice which was placed near the window of the house

Later, MLA Cement Manju visited the place and reviewed the situation there and consulted with the Forest Department officials.
