Hassan: In the wake of the accident being caused by unscientifically constructed humps in the middle of kuvempunagar main road, Mahaveer, owner of Ganapathi Air dress, at his own expense, applied white stripes on the humps.

The road humps being constructed in the middle of the roads along with the ongoing road works in the city have endangered the lives of many.

There have been increasing incidents of unscientific humps being constructed in the middle of the road everywhere and motorists who are not aware of it falling and getting injured. More than 100 motorists have been injured after falling from humps on the road across the city in the last three days.

Accidents are recurring due to lack of warning boards or white bands or signboards on the road humps at required places after the construction of roads.

It is the demand of the public that the authorities concerned should immediately install a signboard or road hump awareness for the humps being constructed between the junction roads in a hurry.
