Hassan: Popular former MLA from Arsikere K.M. Shivalinge Gowda is officially joining the Congress party at a massive convention to be held at Arsikere today.

JDS leader K.M. Shivalingegowda, a three-time MLA in the past, has worked day and night for the development of Arasikere constituency. When he was an MLA, he was extremely successful in providing basic amenities like roads, water, sewerage, electricity to the people without any problems.K.M. Shivalingegowda has given many schemes to the constituencies. He has brought many grants from the state government for the development of the constituency. He has been elected as an MLA three times on the basis of his style of development.

However, in a changed political development, MLA K.M. Shivalingegowda, who has already quit the JDS, is likely to join the Congress this Sunday. With this, K.M. Shi has come forward to give fight to his political opponents.

More than 40,000 people from Arsikere Assembly constituency are expected to participate in the event.
