Hassan: Congress worker Lokesh said that as a sign of self-respect, he will contest as a Congress rebel candidate as locals have been neglected in the issue of ticket distribution by the Congress party in the district.

Speaking at a press conference, he has been fielding outside candidates in the Alur-Sakaleshpur Assembly Constituency for the past many years. This is causing injustice to the local leaders, he said.

“He has been working for the progress of Congress party for the last 25 years in Sakaleshpur-Aluru Reserved Assembly constituency and has also worked actively in Seva Dal. Therefore, I have decided to contest as a rebel candidate,” he said.
