Hassan: CM to launch various works on March 13

Hassan: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will arrive here on Monday March 13 to inaugurate several works and buildings in the District on a single day at the Government Engineering College premises in the City. Next the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various works at the Beneficiaries’ Conference to be held at 11.00 am on Monday.

H. D. Kumaraswamy, who was the Chief Minister during the coalition Government, had launched more than 30 works in Hassan on a single day. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will participate in the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of more than 15 buildings on Monday.

450-bed women’s and children’s building, super speciality hospital, building, nursing officers’ hostel building, MBBS male and female students’ hostel buildings, 300-bed hospital building on Sri Jayachamarajendra Old Hospital, CT Scan Equipment, upgradation of cancer care unit, examination hall gallery, the upgradation of ICU upstairs (90 beds), Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU lab), Human Milk Bank, upgradation of dialysis unit, Post Graduate boys and girls: hostel building (foundation stone laying ceremony), doctors’ quarters building foundation stone, library and skill lab building (foundation stone laying ceremony) will be held.

The inauguration of the new building of the hostel and the foundation stone for the postmatric girls’ postgraduate hostel will be laid.

District In-charge Minister K. Gopalaiah, Tourism Minister Anand Singh, Social Welfare Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar, Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister Dr. K. C. Narayana Gowda will be the Chief Guests.

MLA Preetham J. Gowda will preside over the function. MP Prajwal Revanna, MLAs H. D. Revanna, H. K. Kumaraswamy, K. M. Shivalingegowda and A. T. Shivakumar will be the Chief Guests. Ramaswamy, C. N. Balakrishna, K.bS. Lingesh, MLC Marithibbegowda, Madhu G. Madegowda, Suraj Revanna, City Council President R. Mohan and others will be present.
