Hassan: Former Minister H. D. Revanna has lashed out at the BJP, saying it is indeed sad that reservation has been removed during the strict fasting of Muslims and the BJP will be destroyed as a testimony to the devotion of Muslims.
Speaking at a press conference after participating in the Belur Chennakeshava Rathotsava, he said that the JD (S ) Government, which came in a short span of time, has done development works which were not done by the two National parties.
“Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda has given justice to Muslims by giving them reservation and in order to suppress such a society, the BJP Government’s decision to remove reservation to other castes at a time when Muslims are on a strict hunger strike will lead to the downfall of the BJP,” he said and predicted that the BJP would be destroyed by the culmination of the hardwork and devotion they are doing.
The two National parties are doing many tricks to finish off the JD (S) but no one can do anything as long as Chennakeshavana’s blessings and Deve Gowda is there, he said.
