Hassan: Justifying the pressure mounted by District In-charge Minister A Manju to transfer Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rohini Sindhuri, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Vice President B Shivaram alleged that the district had been witnessing atrocities on Dalits during her short tenure.

A complaint against the DC will be sent to the state home minister as she is not the only person working for the success of Mahamastakabhishekha, Shivaram said.

Rohini has threatened of sending a confidential report to the government against the superintendent of police, if no action was taken against the people who took part in protests over burial ground, Shivaram alleged. There is no let up in corruption during Sindhuri’s term as projected, added Shivaram and found nothing wrong in her transfer.
