Hassan: Kannadigas should be given prominence and they should be given first preference in jobs said former CM B S Yediyurappa.

Speaking at the Sahitya Sammelan, he said that that he stands for the presidential speech and its unfortunate that Kannadigas are fighting for the Kannada in Karnataka. Jobs should be given to those who have studied in Kannada medium, he added.

The discussions at the 81st Kannada Sahitya Sammelan should be implemented by the present State Government and he will be with Kannadigas and work for their development he added.

93 people from different fields were felicitated on the occasion.
