Chikkamagaluru: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has sought Mumbai-like encounter in State speaking with regard to Shivamogga murder.
He was speaking to mediapersons at Mudigere here on Tuesday February 22. He said that only after murderers were encountered in Mumbai that the situation came under control. Therefore, I feel it is time such encounter should be undertaken in the State, he asserted.
It can be recalled here that Hindu Harsha’s murder in Shivamogga late night on Sunday February 20 has turned situation volatile in the State and has created apprehensions among citizens.
