Chikkamagaluru: Enraged by his son’s PUBG addiction, a man accidentally shot his wife dead with a gun in Chikkamagaluru District on Tuesday May 24.

Maimuna has been identified as the deceased. Her husband Imtiyaz works as a security guard in a coffee estate.

Imtiyaz’s son, who was playing PUBG on Tuesday, allegedly took a break to charge his phone and took Imtiyaz’s phone, which was still charging.

Imtiyaz became furious and threatened to kill him by pointing a gun at him. Mumtaz attempted to stop the fight, but Imtiyaz accidentally pulled the trigger, resulting in a bullet hitting Maimuna in the chest.

She was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Later, Imtiyaz was arrested by police.
