Chikkamagaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday April 19 clarified that no innocent people have been arrested in connection with the Hubballi violence and that further arrests too will be made based on evidences.

Speaking to mediapersons Sringeri here in the District, CM reiterated that persons will be arrested only based on evidences. No innocent person has been arrested so far, he stressed.

Further CM asserted that no one behind the violence will be spared and those who take law into their hands will face consequences.
