Chikkamagaluru: The hearing into DySP Kallappa Handibhag suicide case and Tejas Gowda kidnapping case has been postponed on October 27 after the CID sleuths cited security issues and did not produce 10 accused before the JMFC Court on Thursday.

The CID had chargesheeted 11 persons in this case on October 1.

It may be recalled that on July 4 case was registered against DySP Kallappa Handibhag and five others in Tejas Gowda kidnapping case. However, on July 5 Kallappa had ended life claiming innocence. The kingpin in the entire case then turned to be one Praveen Khandya, who is still at large.
