Chikkamagaluru: Several tourists sustained injuries after a jeep rolled down a coffee plantation near Attigundi in the Chikkamagaluru District.
The incident happened as the group was driving to Attigundi’s Sageer Falls. According to sources, there were more than 15 people in the jeep.
The injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
It is claimed that the majority of tourist jeeps in the district lack sufficient documents and also violate safety rules by overloading passengers.
