Chikkamagaluru: The Kadur Police has arrested a man who was trying to sell a 1915 telescope and also seized the same.

The accused has been identified as Kemparaj of Sankratni Circle in Mysuru. It was a brass telescope of Queen Victoria’s time and he had bought it at a low price in Mysuru.

He was trying to sell it to a trader on Jain Temple Road in Kadur of the Taluk for Rs 15 lakh.
