Chikkamagaluru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy said that it was the media that made the Chikkamagaluru and Hassan Assembly Constituency high-voltage in State.

Speaking to the media on the Hassan ticket confusion, he said, “There is a lot of curiosity in the State about Hassan. It is because of the media that it has gained high voltage scenario. Our media persons fix one segment a day. But those who vote in Hassan District are thinking otherwise,” he said.

“I have called a meeting of JD (S) workers at the party office tomorrow. In all 300 party workers will come to the meeting. I will have an open discussion with the party workers on the Hassan ticket issue,” he said.

“They are afraid to talk openly. For this, we will have an open discussion with the prominent leaders of Hassan District and resolve the issues,” he said.
