Chikkamagaluru: Four persons in an autorickshaw escaped unhurt after an ambulance collided head-on with an autorickshaw at a bend on the ghat here on Thursday November 24.

The driver of the ambulance, who was leaving the patient from Mangaluru to Mudigere, lost control and collided with an auto at the first turn of the ghat, injuring four persons in the autorickshaw and were rushed to a hospital.

The accident took place when the passengers in the autorickshaw were returning from Dharmasthala after darshan. Both the vehicles were damaged as the vehicles collided head-on.
