Chikkamagaluru: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced M.P. Eregowda as its candidate for chikkamagaluru assembly constituency. Addressing a press conference, AAP district president Hemanth Kumar said rajan Gowda has been announced as the candidate for Sringeri constituency and Rajeshwari for Kadur.

National president Krejiwal, who played a key role in building the party in ten years and raising it to the national level, would be congratulated, he said, adding that the AAP, which has taken over the reins of the state for the second time in Delhi and punjab, will come to power in all the states of the country in the coming days.

MLA C.T. Ravi has come forward to campaign by distributing sarees, rice, dal, jaggery and other gifts to the people. The Election Commission should take it seriously, he said, adding that since it is not possible to contest elections in the name of development, they are trying to fight the elections on the left side. He demanded that he should announce his retirement from politics. On this occasion, AAP state organising secretary Dr. K. Sundaragowda, Minority Cell President Jameel Ahmed, Women’s Wing District President Naseera Begum, party’s designated candidate M.P. Eregowda and others were present.
