Bengaluru: On Saturday August 28, Karnataka’s Health Department recorded 1,229 new Covid-19 cases, including 310 in Bengaluru, and 13 deaths.

There were also 1,289 discharges on the day, with 329 in Bengaluru.

The Case Fatality Rate (CFR) was 1.05 percent, with a positive rate of 0.66 percent.

There are now 18,897 active cases with the State. According to the bulletin, 1,83,642 samples were tested on Saturday.
