Karnataka: Higher Education Minister Ashwath Narayan said that the revised Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) ranking list would be published on Saturday October 1 at 2.00 pm on karresults.nic.in.

Students have sought a delay in Comed-K counselling because of the delay in issuing the KCET rank lists.

On Thursday, the Comed-K counselling process for engineering courses began. While the KCET case had caused a delay in counselling, it had begun as soon as the High Court had resolved the issue. Counselling had been delayed because of the KCET case, but it had started as soon as the High Court resolved the issue.

Student organisations have, however, asked for an extension of the present delay so that Comed-K counselling can begin after KCET counselling.

On Friday, a memorandum requesting for the same was submitted to the KEA. Moreover, it demanded that after the release of the KCET rankings, students should not be fined for opting government seats over Comed-K seats.
