Koppal: Upset over not being given a tractor for cultivation, a youth resorted to suicide by consuming pesticide in Kandakur Village here.

The deceased has been identified as Siddalingaiah (Ajjappa) Sahukara (22).

Siddalingaiah urged his parents at home to get a tractor for cultivation. But fearing to bear the burden of debt parents were reluctant to buy it.

Siddalingaiah left home. Alarmed by this, the parents lodged a missing complaint. The body was found in Erehalla on Friday January 13.

A postmortem of the body has been conducted and a case has been registered at Kushtagi Police Station.
