Koppal: “Activists and Leaders had demanded that I should contest from Koppal Assembly constituency. Also, if the candidates from all the four other constituencies in the District give tickets to MPs, it will be beneficial for our constituency. Therefore, they have demanded the same in front of the State leaders. So, I have asked for a ticket this time,” said MP Sanganna Karadi.

Speaking to mediapersons here he said, “CM Basavaraj Bommai said that he would also recommend to the central committee on giving us tickets. We will wait and see what decision the Centre takes,” he said.

Reacting to the question of not having tickets for MPs, he said, “It remains to be seen what decision the High Command takes. Other MPs may have also asked for tickets along with me. However, the subject matter is different district-wise and constituency-wise. Let’s see what decision the party takes,” he said.
