Koppal: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who came to power in the name of Ahinda, made a mistake by implementing Tipu Jayanti celebrations immediately. “In Islam, a person is not worshipped, he said and added that he also inculcated caste in school children. He tried to break up the Veerashaiva religion. He was trying to destroy the entire system,” said Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City, she said the Popular Front of India (PFI) has been banned by the State Government. “However, the Siddaramaiah Government released the PFI activists who were earlier lodged in jails in Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Mysuru,” he added.

“The Congress has been doing politics to woo the Muslim votes. We don’t do appeasement politics. Why Shaadi Bhagya was given to a class? It is the Congress which does politics of appeasement and religion,” she said.
