Koppal: Retired Principal Engineer Prabhakar Chini, who resigned from the primary membership of the Congress last Monday February 13, will join the BJP along with his supporters on Wednesday February 15 in the presence of BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Prabhakar Chini, an aspirant from Kushtagi Assembly Constituency, had resigned from the Congress membership after he was sidelined in the Party.

Congress District Vice-President Parashuram Nagarala, Municipal Congress Member Vasantha Melamani, independent Member Ambanna Bhajantri, Ashok Balutagi, Shankaraiah Kampapuramath, Yellappa Gaddi, Syed Attara, Manappa Kammara, Nagaraj Bhovi, Former APMC President Sangappa Menasageri and others are likely to officially join the BJP.
