Koppal: Sri Gavisiddeshwara Swamiji of Gavi Matha led an organ donation awareness jatha involving 18,000 students, which is the first largest organ donation awareness jatha in the State.

Messages rang out in the jatha that eight people could be given their lives by donating one’s organs.

The awareness jatha was held with the theme ‘Paropakaraartham Idam Shariram’. This has caught the attention of the State and swamiji’s noble work has been appreciated.
