Koppal: A disturbing incident has come to light in the Koppal district of Karnataka, where a visually challenged elderly Muslim man was assaulted and forced to chant religious slogans by a group of youths.
The victim, identified as 65-year-old Hussein Saab, was returning home from Hospet late at night when he was accosted by the group. According to police, the youths offered Saab a lift, but instead took him to an isolated spot under a railway bridge.

The following morning, Saab was rescued by shepherds who found him and escorted him home. He immediately filed a police complaint, and an investigation is currently underway.
Koppal Superintendent of Police Yashoda Vantagodi has assured the public that the perpetrators will be brought to justice. The incident has sparked outrage and concern among local residents, who are calling for swift action against the attackers.
This assault serves as a stark reminder of the intolerance and violence that can exist in society. It is important to remember that every individual, regardless of their religion or beliefs, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
