Kalaburagi: Two persons were killed on the spot when a mini-tractor in which they were on their way to sow jowar in a field on the outskirts of Mogha K Village in Aland Taluk of the District overturned on the morning of Monday October 31.

The deceased have been identified as Prakash Banasude (32) farmer and Vinod Jamadar (10), his son.

They were going to sow jowar in the field using mini tractor. During this time, the tractor ran over the mound and overturned. It is learnt that both of them could not come out and got stuck under the tractor and died.

The boy, Vinod, was said to be taking the mid-day meal to his father, who was working in the field.

A case has been registered at Madanahipparagi Police Station in this regard. Police reached the spot and undertook inspection.
